Luxor is home to some of the country's most important ancient archaeological sites. This settlement is located on the site of Thebes, the capital of Ancient Egypt, and is conditionally divided into two parts: the “City of the Living” and the “City of the Dead”, the border between them is the Nile. During the tour, you will get acquainted with a number of famous sights: Hathor Temple in Dendera, banana island, Karnak Temple, Luxor Museum.

Your trip will begin with a visit to the temple of the goddess Hathor in Dendera, a small town 60 km from Luxor. This religious building, which is part of a large-scale temple complex, was built for about 200 years. Until the end of the XIX architectural masterpiece was covered with sand, and today people have the opportunity to appreciate the elegant decoration of the walls of the temple and its impressive sculptures.

You will then travel to Luxor, where you will visit Banana Island. Here you will see how the Egyptian peasants farm, growing strawberries, sugar cane and, of course, the bananas themselves. Local residents will treat tourists with ripe fruits that have a sweet taste.

Next, you will visit the Karnak Temple, located on the east bank of the Nile in the village of the same name, 2.5 km from Luxor. This temple complex, founded around 3200 BC. e., is the largest in ancient Egypt. Two centuries ago, a large-scale historical monument was covered with sand, and only in the 19th century, archaeologists discovered it. Excavations on the territory of the complex are still ongoing.

After exploring the temple, you will visit the Luxor Museum, which displays artifacts found during the excavations of the Luxor and Karnak temples, as well as other exhibits from the prehistoric period to the Islamic era.

At the end of the trip, a boat trip along the Nile awaits you, during which you can enjoy the view of the ancient city from a new angle.

Included in the price: Lunch at the a la carte restaurant (one drink included).
